Sensei Steve Pearce 6th Dan

ki Technique

Sensei Steve Pearce began practising Aikido with the Ki Federation of Great Britain in 1984.

​

Since 2009 his students have included:

Children, an Anglican Priest, a Roofer, a School Teacher, a Doctor, a Photographer,

a disabled retired soldier, a Civil Engineer, Nurses, a Kitchen Manager and a University IT Manager.

​

 

He first practised in Newport under Sensei Mike Lindsey and Sensei Norman Ford in Pontypool,

 

then later under Sensei Steve Lindsey and Sensei Steve Lane before relocating to Bristol and studying under the renowned and inspirational Sensei Paul McKechan.

​

After having to move with work, in 2003 he resumed his training under the profoundly knowledgeable

Sensei John Whipps in Gloucester and Whitecroft, Forest of Dean.

​

He founded the Cardiff Ki Aikido Club initially in Birchgrove before moving it to

Llandaff North, finally moving the Dojo in 2022 to Heath Park.
